Description: Mrs. Cragg (Peggy Mount), an honest cleaning lady who’s acts of kindness inadvertently brings her a large sum of money in the stock market. Must decide if her easy gains are more important than the well being of her family and neighbors when a group of city financiers decide to re-develop her neighborhood. With the help of her happy gang of cleaning ladies, Mrs. Merryweather (Dandy NIchols), Mrs. Higgins (Miriam Karlin) and Emily Parish. They plan to put a stop to the re-development project, going up against the city financier gents led by James Ryder (Harry H. Corbett) and Colonel Whitforth (Robert Morely). A forgotten comedic romp from the classic days of British Cinema, available once again to movie lovers worldwide.
